Samuel Gawith Dr. Verey's Plus is an homage to an outstanding individual who was a well traveled doctor, teacher, entrepreneur and officeholder during the mid 19th century. The offering is a savant blend of tobacco, herbs and spices that deliver an over all medicinal snuff. Detected are camphor, menthol and perhaps anise or cinnamon ending with a refreshing crescendo of all at once. The aroma seems to intensify and build up over time. The color is reddish brown, the moisture is medium dry, the flour is fine and easy to pinch. There is a mild nose burn but well worth the tingle, as the nic hit is very satisfying.
