Dholakia African 10g
Dholakia African 10g
Dholakia Africain is a strong rustic snuff that is blended with minimal spice. This mixture evokes the feeling of middle Africa with an earthy, damp, barnyard smell. Sometimes, upon opening, the lingering odor of ammonia evolves into a rich tobacco smell that ends with a peppery camphor aroma. This may be as close as you will get to an actual safari adventure. Try some soon.

A little more of a step up from slightly mentholated. It's a very smooth snuff, With Hint's of complex flavor's hidden within the nice n cool mentholated forefront, Earthiee, a clean barnyard like flavor, with a almost medicinal root pulled from the dark Earth like flavor. And with a nice nicotine hit as well. A very pleasurable snuff definitely worth giving a try!
Opening the lid I was hit with a very strong ammonia smell and had to let it air out until the tobacco came through. When I took my first snuff the African was unlike any other Dholakia I have tried. This is moist, a bit coarse though much easier to take than NTSU, a strong hit of Vitamin N and delicious. Beside the lovely taste of excellent tobacco there is a shade of menthol or mint in the background but certainly far from overpowering. For me this is a keeper along with my TAXI Blue. I find myself taking this first thing in the morning as my head clearing snuff and as an evening treat. Only problem is if the container is close at hand I may keep stuffing more in and get a bit wobbly.
I didnt like it at first. But after a little airing out. Lets just say its better than. NTSU or Taxi red.Im going to keep tis on hand.
Another first class snuff from Dholakia, reminiscent of Taxi Red, it's coarse, moist and ammonia rich. Much darker in colour than Taxi, in the nose it has that wonderful "horse dung" aroma, which seems to polarise a lot of snuffers, but for me it's a definite re-order.
The color is black .The grind is heavy/ course ,The moisture is medium. very similar to taxi green ,with less ammonia, This is slightly mentholated, easy to use with a spoon, not s easy to pinch. I don't care for the dip like tin so I transferred in to dark glass jar.
It's a good representation of an african snuff ,but I am not a big fan of menthol. I like mine plain, If you like a slightly mentholated snuff like taxi green, you will enjoy this one.
