I usually don't go for F&T snuffs, but this stuff is the 💣💥 it is so good! 👍👍👍👍
This one may be an acquired taste for some I love it. Non mentholated fine cut snuff earthy I carry a tap tin of this and jip whenever I leave the house.
Really pleasant snuff. First "toast" that I've tried, and I really enjoy it. It's dry but not too dry. Plain scent, but with a slight smokiness and buttery scent. Nic hit is pretty good, average I'd say. No noticeable drip with this snuff! Only complaint is the 5 gram tap tin. It doesn't seal super well on the crevice between the two sides, so I think it will dry out quickly if not used in a timely manner. It's a nice tin otherwise and fits in the pocket well.
I’m new to snuff and this one is the most ‘harsh’ I’ve tried. Being dry if you sniff too strong it’ll go straight down your throat, definitely not as forgiving as the more moist ones like Porshl. I’ve actually come to really like it, it just needs a very gentle light sniff or is good to mix as well I’ve found. Not an every day sniff imo, but def one for the stash. Porshyl Ozona and Lowen Prise are my favourites so far.
This snuff is an unpretentious, very satisfying all day snuff. The grind is fine, low moisture, and packs a good dose of vitamin N. Best taken at the front of the nose with some restraint if you are unused to dry fine grinds. I find the pinch method the best way for me to take it. The initial aroma is a scent reminiscent of a campfire (not overpowering like a latakia or fire-cured tobacco) and roasted grains (or toast, incidentally), which, after a minute or two, fades to a very subtle nutty, butteriness. It is a pleasant aroma that is not overly commanding of one's attention, which makes it great for any time of day and any activity. Even the drip, should you get any, is not bad at all.
While I have enjoyed a variety of fruit, menthol, and SP snuffs, this is the snuff I always return to and take most frequently out of my current rotation. The other upside, is that it never seems to clog or irritate my nasal passages no matter how much or how frequently I take it, unlike many menthol snuffs or schmalzlers.
I also recommend it for blending with other snuffs, as it will not overpower them and tends to be very complimentary. My current favorite mixture that I have concocted is a combination with Poschl's Original: the light menthol and apricot from Poschl Original combined with the upfront hint of smokiness from the High Dry T is divine!
