Poschl Perlereuter is the perfect introduction to Schmalzler land. This well blended snuff has all the hallmarks of German type fermentation. The aromas are sweet oasis fruit, Moroccan market smells of sugared coffee and chocolate served while seated on a Persian wool carpet. A very exotic and comforting mixture served up on a mid moist, medium ground crumb that is mild on the nose yet provides a moderate but persistent stream of endocrines. This is the front door to the Schmalzler museum. Well worth the tour.
